Are Sweet Kathleen's cakes made to order?
Yes, all my cakes are made to order especially for you. As many of you know who have ordered from me, I am always anxious to help you in any way that I can. If you want something special that is not on my menu, please ask.
How much time is needed to place an order?
A few days notice would be great. But again, if there are special circumstances, please call me and I will try my best to help.
Do your products need to be refrigerated?
Cheesecakes and cakes made with cream cheese frosting or my cream cheese brownies need to be kept refrigerated. All the pound cake and coffee cakes can stay at room temperature as well as the cakes made with a buttercream frosting. They will stay fresh for several days. They are very moist and rich. I find refrigerating cakes can dry them out. So it is best if it is not perishable to store them at room temperature.
Are all your baked goods made from scratch?
Yes, I never use cake mixes. I always use the freshest ingredients, eggs, butter, whole milk, cream and cream cheese.
Do you deliver?
If it is local I do deliver and the delivery service is $8.00. Many of my customer's will meet me at a convenient location or may come to my home also.
Why are you offering Iveta Scone Mixes?
Simple because they are the best scones I have ever tasted and I hope you will think so too! They are so moist and light and are wonderful served with lemon curd, jams, or clotted cream.
What is the shelf life of the Scone Mixes?
The shelf life is approximately 1 year.
